1970s
+ NSA begins to market in-home fire detectors - years before they were
mandated by building codes - giving people everywhere a simple, effective way to protect their families from tragedy.
+ Jay Martin lays a solid corporate and organizational foundation for NSA’s future
as a successful direct sales company.
1980s
+ NSA begins to market water and air filtration devices that help fuel a growing
public awareness of the importance of drinking better water and breathing
cleaner air.
+ We develop and begin to refine an innovative compensation plan adapted from
the "network marketing" industry.
1990s
+ NSA introduces Juice Plus+® at a time when only a few members of the medical
and scientific community were beginning to realize the importance of whole food based nutrition.
+ We initiate a program of supporting and encouraging third-party clinical research on Juice Plus+ to independently verify its benefits.
+ We further refine our business model to combine the best elements of traditional
franchise marketing, direct sales, network marketing, and consumer goods marketing - and create the Juice Plus+ Virtual Franchise® system.
2000s
+ NSA continues to improve Juice Plus+ and the whole family of Juice Plus+
whole food based nutritional products.
+ As leading scientists take greater note of Juice Plus+ and early published
clinical studies of the product, NSA expands its program of supporting and encouraging third-party clinical research.
+ We continue to refine our business and marketing strategies to embrace and
take full advantage of Internet technology, the growing impact of Internet social communities, and numerous other aspects of our rapidly changing world.
